The Awards committee consists of the National
Board, and if possible two (2) student delegates and two (2) faculty
advisors, with the National First Vice-President serving as chair of
the committee. The amount of grant may vary. Applications for all
Award and Grants may be obtained from the National First
Vice-President.
NATIONAL MEMBER OF THE YEAR
Selection made by nomination and Chapter vote.

The award is given to the junior or senior undergraduate or
graduate or doctoral student who has made the most contribution to
the Chapter.

The Chapter is to send the Chapter Member of the Year Candidate
on the appropriate form to the First National Vice President by
April 15. A National ATD Member of the Year will be selected from
these candidates nominated by the Chapters.

Selection of the winner will be made by the Awards Committee.

Each chapter may present their winner with the Honors Pin.

National Board will present the one final winner with a special
recognition plaque, $100, or as determined by the National Board.
MIRIAM FAY FURLONG GRANT is awarded to a selected ATD
undergraduate member in good standing who will be a junior or senior
next year based on merit and service to the organization. (I would

YELLOW ROSE AWARD All National Member of the Year Candidate's
submitted by each collegiate chapter receive a Yellow Rose charm.
THE ALUMNI PRN GRANT is awarded to a selected Alumni member or
Member At Large, based on merit and service to the organization and
who has been accepted into a graduate or doctoral program in a
course of study to "enhance and further nursing service.”
ADVISOR OF THE YEAR Each year a National Advisor of the Year is
selected from nominees submitted by each collegiate chapter. The
Faculty Advisor selected receives a special recognition plaque and
is submitted as ATD's nomination for PFA's Faculty Advisor of the
Year Award the subsequent year.
